Poor homeless man or refugee sleeping on the wooden bench on the urban street in the city, social documentary concept, selective focus

Always Had A Bed

You always had a bed
Safety and security with the bread
You’ve never needed lead cause you had a step ahead

So tell me, why you need a tax break then?
Corps get ahead cause they’re considered people
Open your eyes to the desperate, the feeble
Citizens United needs the capital needle

I don’t know what hungry is
I always had a bed
But at least I understand the dread

Take a step back, then go all-in
You’ll understand it’s bigger than your spend
It’s bigger than your spread, the street you lay your head, and the waste that you upend

Take a day without, eat out of a can
It just may change your lens
High society’s no community
It’s selfishness, a means to an end

Open your eyes to reality
You always had a bed
